By developing and teaching online courses. UCT faculty also acquire new instructional skills important to their professional growth and development. UCT is committed to providing learners the support and resources they need to succeed as participants in online education. THE IMPORTANCE OF ONLINE LEARNING AT UCT Online learning allows UCT Learners to pursue their learning requirements outside of the traditional classroom setting and can accelerate or enhance their time to success. UCT's online courses are especially important to learners who are working professionals seeking an advanced qualification in their fields and to those UCT learners who cannot attend all formal classes because of work or family obligations.
